Founded 15 years ago by a woman in need of support herself, SHE Network works to empower women in our community going through a tough time. Over the years, we’ve been delighted to see clients become supporters, and vice versa, making SHE a uniquely supportive organization for women on the North Shore.
We're very grateful to our network of volunteers and supporters, and remain truly committed to providing confidential, meaningful assistance through grass-roots support, and to building community and connections for women.
SHE Network is able to provide meaningful, emotional support and create unique connections by getting to know every client personally through our initial coffee meeting - always in an atmosphere of compassion and confidentiality.
Although we don’t match the scope of some other organizations, we’re very proud of the tremendous, positive impact our support has had on each individual woman we’ve worked to empower since 2003.
Over the years, our events have included elegant soirees with live music & dancing, a belly-dancing evening, salsa dance classes, seminars on internet security, holistic health, and financial planning, seasonal gatherings and open meetings to learn more about our work.
We're very grateful to SHE friends who have graciously opened their homes to host some of these events:
