See you Friday November 9th - let's celebrate together!
Founded 15 years ago by a woman in need of support herself, SHE Network works to empower women in our community going through a tough time. Over the years, we’ve been delighted to see clients become supporters, and vice versa, making SHE a wonderfully supportive organization for women on the North Shore.
We are eternally grateful to our network of volunteers and supporters, and we remain truly committed to providing confidential, meaningful assistance through grass-roots support, and to building community and connections for women.
SHE Network is able to provide meaningful, emotional support and create unique connections by getting to know every client personally through our initial coffee meeting - always in an atmosphere of compassion and confidentiality.
Although we don’t match the scope of some other organizations, we’re very proud of the tremendous, positive impact our support has had on each individual woman we’ve empowered since 2003.
Our events have included elegant soirees with live music & dancing, a belly-dancing evening, salsa dance classes, seminars on internet security, holistic health and financial planning, seasonal gatherings and open meetings to learn more about our work.
And we're very grateful to SHE friends who have graciously opened their homes to host some of these events:
To accompany our annual Holiday Appeal towards ongoing empowerment assistance and holiday gifts for our clients, we hold events to collect donations and celebrate our supporters.
A spring event to bring women together after the long New England winter to provide an organizational update and thank our community.
A fall gathering to show appreciation for our network, and collect gifts of winter clothing and contributions for winter fuel costs for our clients.
A major fundraiser in a stunning ocean-front location to celebrate the first decade of sharing, helping and empowering women on the North Shore of Boston.
Informative discussion led by local police officer to inform women of the risks and tools for ensuring internet security for themselves and their family.
Nautical-themed celebration with fun silent auction items, such as sunset cruises, rowing boat, coastal-themed jewelry, local dining options and fashion accessories.
